Your mission
As a Junior Business Controller you will act as a finance partner to (Market) Services leadership, driving installed base monetization, capture rate growth, margin expansion and capital efficiency across the Services portfolio. Therefore, the primary focus is Services performance (majority allocation), with limited Equipment financial performance (operational planning ownership remains within the Equipment organization) support and governance coordination responsibilities.
This position is based in Ellesmere, UK and is on a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-drive installed base monetization and sustainable capture rate growth across Spare Parts, Lifecycle Services and Accessories
- Support margin expansion initiatives and strengthen pricing discipline
- Support customer and dealer discussions with financial insights on profitability, pricing and contract economics where relevant
- Optimize Net Working Capital and cost-to-serve across Services activities
- Own financial steering of workshop and field service performance (utilization, absorption, standard cost rates, charge-out rates) where applicable
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with focus on forecast accuracy and business relevance
- Support structured financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Support financial integration and performance tracking of acquired or newly integrated activities
- Support financial evaluation of acquisitions, partnerships and Hiab growth initiatives
- Interface, where applicable, with the CX Center in Gdansk on customer-related financial topics
- Ensure transparency and early identification of financial risks and opportunities within Services

What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Business Control or Finance Business Partnering
- Experience in Services, aftermarket or recurring revenue business models preferred
- Exposure to industrial, heavy equipment, automotive or similar industries advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in digital finance environments with strong affinity for BI tools, data analytics and process automation initiatives
- Ability to influence, challenge constructively and communicate confidently with senior operational stakeholders
