Company Overview
EQ Investors (EQ) is an award-winning discretionary fund management (DFM) and Wealth Management business.
We work with financial intermediaries primarily in the UK but also internationally; partnering with over 300 advice firms and 700 financial advisers including directly authorised firms, large regional IFA businesses and Nationals and Networks. We service private clients, corporates and charitable endowments all around the UK. Positioned in the market as one of the leading sustainability specialists, the continued rise of sustainable investing means we are in the midst of an exciting growth phase.
EQ is also a Certified B Corporation (having been one of the founding B Corps in the UK), an internationally recognised standard for companies that believe in business as a force for good. Making a positive contribution to the wider community is a core part of our business philosophy.
Role
EQ’s discretionary fund management arm is looking to hire a Business Development Sales Support individual. Within this role you will be actively involved in helping to drive new revenue growth for the company. The role will involve supporting the distribution team in providing market leading client experience and will report to Head of (Investment) Sales.
The successful candidate will be expected to improve the efficiency of the distribution function and proactively manage and improve processes. The candidate should be interested in developing as a Sales Professional over time and there is an opportunity for proactive as well as reactive contact with IFAs and intermediaries, with the potential to manage your own client book in the future.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
