We are supporting our client to find a Buyer to join their emerging family run electronics manufacturing business!
This role involves supporting sales through accurate job estimating and procurement. You’ll report directly to the Purchasing Manager and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of parts across the supply chain.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Raise purchase orders and manage delivery schedules to meet production plans
- Support negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms
- Monitor material availability and proactively address shortages or delays
- Managing orders; Place and schedule parts in line with MRP requirements
- Ensure the MRP system accurately reflects stock dates, locations, and quantities
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar role (desirable)
- Previous experience within Contracts Electronics Manufacturing (desirable)
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong commitment to achieving deadlines
- Strong maths and IT skills with the ability to use daily World, Excel, MRP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
- Languages: Fluent English. Mandarin or Cantonese is desirable, but not essential

Working Hours and Benefits:
- Working hours: 36.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times
- Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing annually to a maximum of 30 days
- Enjoy a one month paid sabbatical after 6 years of service
