Junior Buyer Global
Head: Online Buyer – EU (Global Fashion & Beauty)

About the Role
As the Online Buyer – EU (Global Fashion & Beauty), you’ll:
- Support the execution of product ranges that align with category strategies and commercial goals.
- Focus on prudent product selection while ensuring alignment to the critical commercially relevant runway path for review.
- Monitor sales and trade performance, alongside competitor analysis, continuously throughout the season to inform data-led decisions.
This role is not focused on product development—it’s about execution, performance, and growth.
What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities
You’ll be accountable for:
- Driving EU marketplace success:
- Boost sales, margin, and profit through effective product launches and trading plans.
- Monitor performance to make agile stock, pricing, and promotional decisions.
- Supporter to strategic planning & end-to-end product lifecycle:
- Ensure timely and efficient execution from sourcing to delivery.
- Leadership & team development:
- Lead your team to achieve departmental success.
- Collaborative product strategy:
- Work with cross-functional teams to shape customer-focused go-to-market plans.
- Data-driven optimisation:
- Use data and insights to refine ranges, identify risks, and capitalise on opportunities.
- Range ownership:
- Own product ranges to maximise sales and profit while building strong stakeholder relationships—always prioritising the global customer.
- Key competencies:
- Assortment: Deliver commercial, goal-aligned ranges.
- Communication: Collaborative and influential communication skills.
- Execution: End-to-end product delivery management.
- Analysis: Turning data into actionable decisions.
- Problem-solving: Proactive and innovative.

You in the Role
You’ll be at least Assistant Buyer Level or equivalent, ideally with an appetite for growth in a global retail environment. Your skills and experience should include:
- A keen practice interest in online, multi-channel consumer trends.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and analytical abilities.
- Familiarity with multi-million pound buying and marketplace decision-making.
- Proven experience in forecasting, rapid-segmentation selling, and budget trade execution within an e-commerce/retail context.
