Junior Buyer – Statement-Led Footwear Brand
A fantastic opportunity has opened for a junior buyer to join a catwalk-inspired, trend-responsive and statement-led footwear brand that believes in making the shoe the central part of any outfit. Their ethos is bold, edgy, and contemporary.
About the Role
This is a product development role, focusing on the brand’s own-branded range. A background or strong interest in footwear is highly desirable.
As a junior buyer, you will:
- Own a product category and trade within the department.
- Oversee trend forecasting, product development, fit sessions, and fabric sign-offs.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best offers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, and suppliers to ensure smooth product launches.
- Manage a buying admin assistant.

Key Responsibilities
- Forecast and shape trend-driven product ranges.
- Ensure product quality, fit, and supplier specifications are met.
- Develop strong supplier relationships to improve margins and growth.
- Coordinate seasonal product launches and trade activities.
- Maintain high standards of organisation and attention to detail.

Requirements
- Strong creative and trend-forecasting skills to deliver a commercial range.
- Experience managing supplier negotiations for profitability.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team.
- Proven ability to manage administrative support in a buying role.
