Company Overview
Lemonade Dolls is a dynamic and innovative brand, and we're seeking an experienced and dedicated Junior Buyer / product developer to join our team. As a crucial member of our product team, you'll play a key role in shaping our product assortment, ensuring alignment with Lemonade's vision, and contributing to the overall success of our brand. Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you will be responsible for various aspects of the product development process.

- Product-obsessed, currently operating at Junior Buyer or Product Developer level with a genuine passion for great product.
- Detail-driven, with the organisation to keep trackers, samples, and approvals moving without being chased.
- Motivated by challenging briefs, with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
- Confident, enthusiastic, and self-motivated and are able to use initiative and work at pace in a reactive environment.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding key performance metrics.
- An excellent communicator, written and verbal, who builds strong professional relationships.
- A flexible, considerate team player who thrives in a start-up environment.

Responsibilities
Range & Buying
- Collaborate with the Head of Product to curate a product assortment in line with the brand's product strategy and key performance metrics.
- Support in range building and developing specific categories.
- Analyse sales and inventory data, presenting insights and recommendations to optimise the product mix.
- Support weekly trade meetings, providing updates and information to the Buying team as required.
- Provide market analysis on future trends and competitor ranges through comp shops and external research.
Product Development & Critical Path
- Manage range plans and critical path - monitoring orders from initial development through to delivery and keeping schedules on track.
- Drive the development process day to day, ensuring timely execution and approval of products.
- Ensure timely placement of purchase orders with suppliers.
- Own sample management, labelling, maintaining the development tracker, and ensuring the correct samples are available for meetings.
- Attend fit meetings contributing on fit, styling, and trims.
- Handle lab dip and trim approvals.

Skills / Experience Required
- Currently operating at Junior Buyer or Product Developer level — buying or product development experience is essential.
- A clear understanding of product critical paths, lead times, and garment development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn sales and inventory data into recommendations.
- Previous experience working with wholesale partners is an advantage.
- Experience with Adobe - Illustrator, In design and photoshop is desired not essential.
- Computer literate with intermediate MS Office skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Knowledge of the lingerie or fashion industry (desired, not essential).
- Experience in a start-up is a significant plus.
