Junior Compliance Officer
Location: London (Rose Court)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Compliance Officer to join our growing team. This role is heavily focused on customer-facing compliance activities, particularly managing and completing security and due diligence questionnaires.
As a Junior Compliance Officer, you will become a subject matter expert in our product so you can confidently and accurately respond to customer security queries. You will also play a key role in supporting our internal compliance initiatives, such as maintaining ISO and SOC 2 frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Focus: Customer Security & Compliance Questionnaires
- Own and Manage Requests: Take full ownership of customer due diligence requests, including security questionnaires, RFPs, and vendor assessments.
- Customer Point of Contact: Act as the central internal point of contact for all incoming customer compliance and security queries.
- Product Expertise: Develop deep product knowledge to provide accurate, consistent, and high-quality technical responses.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to gather, validate, and update compliance information.

Additional Compliance Responsibilities
- Audit & Framework Support: Support ISO and SOC 2 audit processes, including control monitoring and evidence collection.
- Documentation Maintenance: Assist in updating and maintaining internal compliance documentation, policies, and controls.
- Remediation Tracking: Participate in internal audits and track outstanding remediation activities to completion.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to streamlining and automating the workflow for handling customer compliance requests.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Background: Recent university graduate or early-career candidate with a strong interest in compliance, information security, risk, or audit.
- Communication: Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to write structured, professional, and customer-facing responses.
- Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn technical product information and translate it into clear, compliance-friendly answers.
- Interest in GRC: Genuine interest in ISO 27001, SOC 2, customer due diligence, and cybersecurity.
- Drive: Proactive, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience completing security questionnaires or working with RFPs.
- Previous exposure to SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) or technology environments.
