Junior Compliance Technologist

An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Compliance Technologist to join the dynamic and fast-moving environment of this growing business.
About the role
The primary focus is to be responsible for checking artwork content and pack copy to ensure that the information is accurate and meets relevant compliance regulations. You will ensure checks are completed to meet production timings, critical path schedules and launch deadlines. Reporting to the Compliance and Quality Manager the role is also a developmental opportunity requiring the job holder to help and support all product compliance related activities within the business. The Muc-Off product portfolio is diverse and our products are sold internationally making this an interesting and varied role.

Key responsibilities:
You will be responsible for reviewing artwork, ensuring that the information in the artwork design is accurate and reflects the requirements of the relevant technical specifications and market regulations. Working collaboratively and in close partnership with the artwork development team to ensure artwork is generated in an accurate and timely manner. Partner with the new product development team to ensure artwork is produced in line with project timelines. Engaging with the purchasing teams and label suppliers to provide artwork to facilitate availability for finished product production Support the Compliance and Quality manager with administration support that is required to sell product legally and safely in all our markets. As part of the operations team proactively work to mitigate risk and enact initiative-taking solutions to address regulatory issues that arise in the markets where we operate.
Knowledge skills and experience required:
Ideally educated to a minimum of A level standard with a science content in achieved qualifications. An ability to focus with a strong attention to detail. An ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously delivering results against defined timelines. A proficient level of IT competency An ability to work independently, with a high degree of self-motivation. Good collaborative skills and able to work in partnership with co-workers. Good organisational and time management skills A desire for personal development, to acquire knowledge and learn new skills relevant to supporting the product compliance requirements of the business.
