The Role
As a Technology Strategy Analyst/Project Manager, you’ll lead advisory engagements while contributing to high-impact insights. This hybrid role blends project leadership with deep analytical work, ensuring: 🔹 End-to-end project delivery for Defence & Security (with sector expansion potential) 🔹 Alignment of technical feasibility with commercial viability 🔹 Insights-driven decision-making for clients

Key Responsibilities

Deep Tech Strategy & Feasibility Analysis
- Assess transformative technologies (e.g., quantum computing’s 50-year applications, neuromorphic computing’s disrupt potential, post-quantum cryptography risks).
- Develop AI-enabled weak-signal detection tools and operationalise emerging tech for Defence/Industrial use.
- Evaluate user desirability and adoption/commercialisation strategies.

Project Management & Delivery
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful, value-driven outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional teams (tech experts, product designers, business analysts) with a focus on cohesive execution.
- Proactively mitigate risks and tailor solutions to diverse client contexts.

Market & Business Insights
- Conduct technical, market, and business model analyses to guide clients through complexity.
- Craft data-backed recommendations bridging lab innovation with real-world deployment.
- Balance leadership with hands-on analysis, contributing to core deliverables.

Client Engagement & Business Development
- Partner with Business Developers to align client needs with proposals.
- Understand and articulate programme requirements through Government tendering processes.

Thought Leadership & Communication
- Drive leadership on deep tech’s role in global challenges (e.g., climate resilience in battlespaces).
- Translate findings for technical (e.g., engineers) and non-technical (e.g., C-suite) audiences with clarity and impact.
What You’ll Bring
Core Criteria
- Technical Foundation: Master’s or PhD in physical sciences, applied mathematics, data science, or engineering. Demonstratable knowledge of S&T/defence spectra.
- Sector Experience: 2–5 years in Defence/Security (government, consultancy, startups, or MNEs), with experience leading S&T/R&D-heavy projects.
- Project Management: +2 years managing projects/lending similar experience. Proven ability to:
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams (synthesise diverse inputs)
- Manage stakeholder expectations and programme scope
- Navigate Government tendering processes

Security & Eligibility
