Copywriter (The Greenhouse) – The Body Shop
**About the Body Shop
The Body Shop has been a force in ethical beauty since 1976, and we’re just getting started. Now is the most exciting time to join us as we shape our future, with incredible possibilities across the UK and globally.
We’re searching for daring ethical beauty pioneers who are passionate about driving our mission forward. If that’s you, we’d love you to help us rewrite the next chapter—where business is a force for good, and rebellion is at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
As a brand rooted in rebellion, The Body Shop refuses to conform. Our people, products, and communications—all vibrant expressions of our purpose: to use business to create positive economic, social, and environmental impact. We need a copywriter who thrives in this bold, non-conformist environment and is ready to craft memorable copy that drives meaningful engagement with our global audience.
The Greenhouse (TGH) Overview
A smaller, in-house creative hub, TGH exists to "romance the products, communicate intimately with customers, and separate us from the competition through ideas of inspirational brilliance"—as envisioned by founder Anita Roddick. Since 2018, we’ve been evolving TGH to better realise its ethos: rebuilding, reinvigorating, and rediscovering our rebellious spirit.
This role is pivotal in that journey. As the right candidate, you’ll craft bold, resonant copy across all customer-facing touchpoints, from campaigns to everyday communications. You’ll collaborate with a diverse array of colleagues—designers, marketers, product owners—and even contribute to shaping the Brand’s Verbal Identity, ensuring our tone of voice remains relevant and compelling.
Every creative output must refine our distinct Body Shop voice, purpose-driven messaging, and global cultural resonance. While you’ll focus on language, you’ll enrich TGH’s dynamic, cross-functional culture, holding the team accountable for delivery, innovation, and commercial success.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
