As a Junior Credit Controller, you will play an important role in helping our Belfast site maintain healthy cash flow, strong customer relationships and smooth day-to-day operations.
You will join a supportive Finance team where you can build practical experience in credit control, customer accounts, payment processes and financial reporting, while developing your skills within a global organisation guided by our purpose of Feeding the Future.

What you’ll do
You will support the management of customer accounts, help resolve payment queries and ensure that incoming payments and financial records are handled accurately.
You will:
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and support the collection of overdue payments
- Speak with customers to resolve invoice, payment, rebate and claim queries
- Allocate and reconcile incoming payments accurately
- Keep clear records of payment activity and customer communication
- Help prepare aged debt, collection and cash flow reports
- Support credit-limit reviews and order-release processes
- Escalate overdue or higher-risk accounts when needed
- Work closely with Commercial, Logistics and Customer Services colleagues
- Support wider Accounts Receivable and Credit Control administration

Who we’re looking for:
This could be a great next step for someone early in their Finance career who enjoys working with numbers, systems and people. You may already have some experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration or a similar role, or be looking to build on an internship, placement or relevant studies.
You will bring:
- Good Excel and IT skills, including data entry, sorting, filtering and basic reporting
- Strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, a proactive and resilient approach to following up on payments, and the ability to stay organised and manage deadlines effectively
- Willingness to learn new systems; experience with ERP systems, Power BI or Infor M3 would be an advantage, but is not essential
Location & Practicalities
- Location: Belfast
- Work model: 100% on-site
- Employment type: Full-time, 6 month fixed-term contract
- Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
