As a Junior Credit Controller, you’ll play a critical role at our Belfast site, helping maintain healthy cash flow, strong customer relationships and efficient operations.
You’ll join a supportive Finance team, gaining hands-on experience in credit control, customer accounts, payment processes and financial reporting. Under the guidance of a global organisation focused on Feeding the Future, you’ll emerge with valuable skills and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully from day one.

What You’ll Do
You’ll support the Finance team in maintaining accurate customer accounts, resolving payment queries and ensuring seamless financial administration. Key responsibilities include:
- Following up on outstanding invoices to support payment collection
- Engaging with customers to resolve invoice, payment, rebate and claim disputes
- Ensuring accurate allocation and reconciliation of incoming payments
- Maintaining clear records of payment activity and customer communications
- Assisting in compiling aged debt reports, collection statistics and cash flow insights
- Supporting credit-limit reviews and order-release processes
- Escalating overdue or high-risk accounts where necessary
- Collaborating with Commercial, Logistics and Customer Services teams
- Administering Accounts Receivable and broader Credit Control functions

Who We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for early-career professionals with a passion for finance, systems and people-engagement—even if your experience is limited.
Ideal candidates may have:
- Studied Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
- Complete or completed an internship/placement in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration or similar
You should bring:
- Strong Excel and IT skills, such as:
- Data entry, sorting, filtering and basic financial reporting
- Key soft skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication
- Proactive and resilient approach to payment follow-ups
- Ability to stay organised and meet deadlines
- A willingness to learn new systems, preferably with exposure to ERP, Power BI or Infor M3 ( pero no esencial ).
Location & Practicalities
- Location: Belfast
- Work Model: 100% on-site
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Hours: 35 per week (Monday to Friday)
