Data Analyst
We're partnering with a fast-paced PLC with an exciting opportunity for several Data Analysts to join their analytical team based in Manchester. This is a hybrid role with a 2-day office requirement.
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with a numerical-related degree who is looking to develop a career in an analytical field working on real-time data. Ideally, you may have some experience as a Data Analyst either in a placement year or post-university.
The Data Analyst role offers a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, highly numerate graduate to make a significant difference within a well-established and rapidly growing organisation.
Your Day to Day Will Consist Of:
- Working with the Web Analytics Team and Head of Insight & Analytics to provide ongoing and ad hoc insight, analysis and reporting from Web Analytics data to the business.
- Creating and maintaining interactive dashboards in Power BI for multiple business stakeholders.
- Assisting in the scoping, testing, tagging and overall delivery related to the Comprehensive data Layer implementation.
- Auditing & Cleansing of Underlying Data structures and Management of properties & frameworks.
- Prototyping and R&D of new technologies and techniques.
- Working with stakeholders to establish hypotheses, spec additional tracking requirements and validate future experiments for optimisation.

What We Want From You:
- Numeric based degree i.e. Maths, Computer Science, Physics etc.
- Microsoft Office product suite, particularly Excel i.e. Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following is advantageous: SQL, R, Python.
- You will learn: SQL, Python, Power BI, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Clear, logical analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to investigate data, find trends, forecast performance and provide insightful recommendations.
