Junior Data and Performance Analyst

Hybrid – London Location

Start your career in data with Premium Credit

Are you a recent graduate, early-career analyst or someone looking to take your first step into a data-focused career?

This is a brilliant opportunity to join Premium Credit as a Junior Data and Performance Analyst, where you’ll learn how data is used to shape decisions, improve performance and support commercial growth across our Sales Insurance Services function. The role is designed for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and keen to develop their skills in reporting, insight and data storytelling.

You don’t need to be the finished article. We’re looking for potential, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in turning data into meaningful insight. If you’ve studied a financial, mathematical or analytical subject such as Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Finance or similar — or have equivalent experience — this could be the ideal place to start building your career.

Why join Premium Credit?

Premium Credit is the leading provider of insurance premium finance and a range of annually charged services across the UK and Ireland. We support more than 3 million customers, lend over £6bn and work with a wide network of partners to make payments simple, convenient and accessible.

We’re proud of the culture we’ve created at Premium Credit, and the recognition it continues to receive. We are certified as a Great Place to Work, included in the UK Best Workplaces for Learning and Development and Wellbeing 2026 Top 100, rated 4.4 on Glassdoor and 4.5 on Trustpilot, and hold a Silver Sustainability medal.

We’re also proud to be recognised as a Best Place to Work for Development and recently secured a Top 100 spot in Best Place to Work for Wellbeing, reflecting our commitment to helping colleagues grow, feel supported and build rewarding careers.

The role

As Junior Data and Performance Analyst, you’ll support the Sales team by producing data, insight and reporting that helps colleagues and partners make better decisions, identify opportunities and support the continued growth of the business.

You’ll work with existing data products, help improve how information is presented and used, and support the development of new reporting tools that respond to business needs. You’ll also learn how to analyse trends, communicate insights clearly and turn large volumes of data into practical recommendations.

This is an ideal role if you enjoy solving problems, spotting patterns and explaining what the data means in a way that others can understand. You’ll be supported to build your confidence, develop your technical skills and learn from experienced colleagues across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Act as a key point of support for selected data products, helping the wider sales function access information and insight.
  • Analyse trends, identify patterns and present findings in a clear, engaging and commercially useful way.
  • Use data storytelling to help colleagues understand what the numbers are showing and what action could be taken.
  • Contribute ideas, challenge existing approaches and champion best practice and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with numbers and wants to develop into a confident data professional.

You’ll bring:

  • A degree, equivalent qualification or relevant experience in a financial, mathematical or analytical subject, such as Business, Economics, Finance or similar.

It would be helpful, but not essential, if you have some exposure to:

  • Power BI, Excel or Tableau.
  • SQL or querying data.
  • Project work, university assignments or placement experience involving data, reporting or analysis.

If you don’t meet every preferred point, we’d still encourage you to apply. This is an entry-level role with training and support, so we’re interested in your potential as much as your experience.
