Junior Delivery Manager
Junior Delivery Manager (Web & App) – Global Digital Platform
A roles issue by an iconic, well-known global brand in eCommerce, and QSR environments [OUTSIDE IR35],[6-month rolling contract]
Role Overview
A Delivery Manager is required to drive execution excellence across their global digital platform, supporting web and mobile app experiences in Canada and Europe.
This role ensures product strategy is translated into high-quality, predictable delivery outcomes, bridging the gap between planning, execution, and cross-market coordination.
The Delivery Manager oversees:
- End-to-end squad resource control and capability (Canada & Europe)
- Coordination across markets, teams, and platforms
- Dependencies, risks, and resource capacity management
- WOK integration (flexibility & customer escalation touchpoints)

Key Responsibilities
1. Intake & Discovery
- Capture all market requests, bugs, and technical needs for intake.
- Facilitate cross-functional discovery to ensure project readiness.
- Define clear scope, milestones, and delivery objectives across markets.
- Identify cross-market dependencies, risks, and sequencing in advance.

2. PI Planning & Roadmap Readiness
Before PI Planning
- Lead capacity planning for Canada and Europe squads, balancing priorities.
- Align dependencies with Product, Design, and Engineering.
- Establish and maintain planning boards, timelines, and delivery artifacts.
During PI Planning
- Ensure both squads develop high-quality execution plans.
- Facilitate discussions on dependencies, risks, mitigations, and sequencing trade-offs.
- Advocate for realistic commitments based on capacity and complexity.
After PI Planning
- Manage PI tracking across both squads.
- Track commitments, risk, and progress in the Canada and Europe workstreams.
- Ensure alignment between global roadmap and local delivery.
3. Execution & Sprint Delivery
- Lead day-to-day delivery execution.
- Maintain evolving deliverables and milestones.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve risks, blockers, and dependencies.
- Ensure backlog health. Work backlog refinement & prioritization rules with the Product Owner.
4. Agile Operations & Ceremonies
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies for both squads, including:
- Daily Stand-ups
- Sprint Planning
- Backlog Refinement
- Sprint Reviews & Retrospectives
- Ensure accountability and delivery discipline.
- Support continuous improvement and ways of working.

5. Post-Launch & Operational Excellence
- Manage knowledge transfer and team enablement post-release.
- Balance feature delivery with operational support (e.g., bugs, production issues).
- Track and analyse delivery metrics, including metrics like:
- Velocity
- Predictability
- Throughput
Qualifications
Required
✔ 5+ years experience in:
- Delivery Management
- Program Management
- Scrum Master ✔ Proven Agile/Scrum delivery expertise in digital product environments (web & app). ✔ Strong experience in PI Planning/scaled Agile frameworks. ✔ Ability to manage cross-team dependencies and global stakeholders. ✔ Exceptional communication skills.
Preferred
✖ Experience in eCommerce or fast casual (QSR) environments. ✖ Experience with global or multi-market delivery models. ✖ Familiarity with tools like Jira, JPD, Confluence, or similar. ✖ Strong analytical mindset with delivery metrics experience.
Contract: 6-month rolling contract Rate: £400-425 per day Working: Based remote (from UK)
