Key Focus Areas
- Microsoft stack-centric development, closely collaborating with traders and analysts.
- Widespread work — tasks span from short-term projects to multi-month engagements.
- Tech stack: Angular, WebAPI, C#, and relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server). Increasing adoption of open-source tools where applicable.

**What We’re Looking For – Front Office IT Analyst / Developer Position
We’re seeking a talented, motivated professional to join our evolving commercial-facing IT team. Key skills should align with the following:
Essential Competencies
- The ability to quickly grasp systems or problems and navigate ideas effectively.
- Defining system architecture (Enterprise or Tactical levels) and translating them into actionable solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and deep understanding of system development blocks.
- Knowledge in maintaining supportable systems — an aptitude for sustaining systems and building durable architectures.
- Curiosity in technology with a natural inclination to explore emerging tech and use cases.
- Willingness to upskill in new technologies or frameworks with support from training/mentoring.
- Ability to conduct software testing and advocate for test automation where applicable.

Main Responsibilities
As part of this role, you will:
- Implement new features and enhancements for our front-office tools.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting post-deployment.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for changes — from initial problem analysis/solution design to coding, implementation, and final release.
- Track and adhere to company best practices in software development and DevOps.
- Ensure thorough documentation for system changes and associated test scenarios.
Experience & Requirements
Experience
Ideally, candidates brought in experience from one of:
- Energy trading houses
- Investment banks
- Leading software development houses
Technical Skills
Core Requirements:
- Confident in C# architecture and coding best practices.
- Experience working with relational databases (preferably Oracle or SQL Server).
- Understanding of code testing principles, scoping, and execution.
Preferred/Helpful Skills:
- Knowledge of Angular or React (Angular preferred).
- Windows Server expertise.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively both with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
