Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum
Contract Length: Initial 2-Month Internship with Potential Extension
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, Full Time
Work Arrangement: Fully Office Based

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the development, testing, and deployment of software applications
  • Supporting the maintenance and enhancement of existing business systems
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Collaborating with developers and business stakeholders on technical projects
  • Troubleshooting software issues and implementing effective solutions
  • Participating in code reviews and development planning activities
  • Supporting database management and system integrations where required
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and technologies

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical experience
  • Understanding of software development principles and programming fundamentals
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • A proactive attitude with a genuine passion for technology and software development
  • Ability to work effectively within a fully office-based team environment
