Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum
Contract Length: Initial 2-Month Internship with Potential Extension
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, Full Time
Work Arrangement: Fully Office Based
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the development, testing, and deployment of software applications
- Supporting the maintenance and enhancement of existing business systems
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Collaborating with developers and business stakeholders on technical projects
- Troubleshooting software issues and implementing effective solutions
- Participating in code reviews and development planning activities
- Supporting database management and system integrations where required
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and technologies
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical experience
- Understanding of software development principles and programming fundamentals
- Knowledge of at least one programming language such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar
- Familiarity with databases and SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- A proactive attitude with a genuine passion for technology and software development
- Ability to work effectively within a fully office-based team environment
