Junior DevOps Engineer
An innovative organisation in the public sector space is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer. This role supports the design, delivery, automation, and operation of secure, reliable, and scalable digital services across government. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary Digital, Data, and Technology team to improve deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and assist with automating build, test, and release processes.
- Assist with provisioning and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Monitor digital services and infrastructure to support incident investigation, root cause analysis, and service recovery.
- Work with cyber security colleagues to apply secure-by-design principles and support vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners within an agile multidisciplinary team environment.

What We're Looking For
- Awareness of Agile and DevOps ways of working and cloud hosting platform services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and version control systems.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts and basic scripting for routine task automation.
- Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and alerting tools to maintain service health.
- Legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom and awareness of data protection and security standards.
