Junior Electrical Engineer
Junior/Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer
An independent building services company has an immediate requirement for an ambitious junior/intermediate level electrical design engineer to join their growing building services team. This role offers career progression to senior level and is focused on ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
About the Role
You will:
- Work across a variety of sectors, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary colleagues
- Deliver technically-excellent, profitable projects for high-profile public and private clients
- Develop new and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and generating repeat business
- Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers through expertise, motivation, and inspiration
- Contribute to high-quality electrical distribution, power generation, lighting, and security system designs

Responsibilities
- Design and coordinate electrical distribution and power generation projects
- Develop solutions for lighting and security systems within building services
- Manage client relationships to drive satisfaction and business retention
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on best practices and technical excellence
- Use expertise to inspire teamwork and uphold project profitability

Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree (minimum level) in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Proven experience in electrical engineering within a building services context (design & coordination)
- Hands-on experience in electrical distribution, power generation, lighting, and security systems
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in Amtech (mandatory)
- Familiarity with Dialux (advantageous)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating quality and client-centric approach
