Role: Junior Electrical Engineer
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Onsite – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: Coventry
Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturing company, and we are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.
Junior Electrical Engineer – Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the design, development and enhancement of electrical rotating equipment by supporting engineering projects, producing technical documentation and creating electrical design solutions.
- Prepare and maintain CAD drawings, engineering records and manufacturing documentation, while contributing to testing activities, analysing results and compiling technical reports to support product development and validation.
- Support engineering investigations by carrying out equipment assessments, assisting with fault diagnosis and contributing to technical evaluations that improve the reliability and performance of rotating machinery.
- Work collaboratively with design, manufacturing, service and project teams to provide technical support, contribute to project delivery and ensure all engineering activities meet quality standards, specifications and customer requirements.

Junior Electrical Engineer - Essential Skills & Experience:

- Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or related subject
- A genuine interest in electrical machinery or electrical rotating equipment with an enthusiasm for developing technical expertise.
- Familiar using CAD packages and exposure to producing engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively while working as part of a team.
