Junior Embedded Software Engineer
Junior Embedded Software Engineer – Farnborough (Onsite)
Join a leading space and satellite communications company developing next-generation satellite payload and communications platforms, delivering high-performance solutions for global connectivity.
This innovative business is seeking a Junior Embedded Software Engineer to support the development, integration, and testing of Linux-based embedded systems used in advanced baseband and antenna hardware. You’ll collaborate with experienced hardware, RF, and software engineers, contributing to low-level development, driver integration, and system bring-up while growing your technical expertise in a demanding environment.

Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
- Some commercial or internship experience developing embedded software in C/C++
- Exposure to Embedded Linux, including:
- Kernel and driver development
- User-space development
- Understanding of communication peripherals such as I2C, SPI, or UART
- An interest in low-level systems and hardware interaction
- A proactive attitude and strong desire to learn
- Ideally, some awareness of RF or communications systems (not essential)
