Junior Estimator – Bespoke Furniture and Joinery
Location: Rugby
Salary: £25,000–£32,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Recruitable Staffing are proud to be recruiting a Junior Estimator for a specialist furniture and joinery business based in Rugby.
This opportunity would suit someone who has previously worked in a furniture, cabinetmaking or joinery workshop and is looking to use their practical knowledge in an estimating and commercial role.
The Role
- Reviewing drawings and customer specifications
- Estimating materials, labour and production costs
- Preparing quotations
- Liaising with workshop and production teams
- Calculating material quantities
- Supporting the pricing of bespoke furniture and joinery projects
- Contacting suppliers for prices and lead times
- Updating estimates and project information
- Helping ensure quotations are accurate and commercially competitive

Requirements
- Previous experience working in a furniture, joinery or cabinetmaking workshop
- Good understanding of furniture manufacturing processes
- Able to read drawings and specifications
- Good numerical and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Commercially aware and willing to learn
- Good communication and organisational skills
