About the Role

Are you an ambitious, motivated individual looking to build a successful career in sales?

We are seeking a Junior Field Sales Advisor to join our growing team specialising in commercial kitchen extraction and ventilation systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer-facing or sales experience who is eager to develop their skills within a technical and rewarding industry.

Working closely with our Sales Manager, you will receive full training and mentoring while supporting business development activities, building customer relationships, and helping to deliver sales targets. This role offers a clear pathway for progression into a Field Sales Advisor and future senior sales positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and follow up on sales leads within allocated regions and sectors.
  • Attend customer meetings, site surveys, and project discussions alongside senior sales team members.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and presentations.
  • Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Support the conversion of enquiries into secured projects.
  • Act as a key point of contact for assigned customers under guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales process.
  • Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to the Project Management team.
  • Identify opportunities for new installations, system upgrades, and planned maintenance contracts.
  • Research market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.
  • Provide feedback and insights to support business growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates on lead generation, pipeline activity, and sales performance.
  • Support the Sales Manager with reporting and administrative tasks.
  • Develop technical knowledge of commercial kitchen extraction and ventilation systems.
  • Learn company sales processes, pricing structures, and commercial requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing training and mentoring programmes designed to support career progression.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in sales, customer service, or another customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Positive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
