About the Role

We are delighted to be representing a luxury brand to recruit a Junior Finance Manager into their Global Finance Team.

This is a fantastic role, with genuine room for growth within the global team, as well as within the parent Company / group of brands, which is a rare opportunity for someone ready for their next move.

We are looking for a true Business Partner, someone who is curious, collaborative, hands on and can build strong relationships and communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders, in both London & Paris, to drive the business forward.

You will be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working alongside the business, turning financial data into meaningful insight and influencing decision making to improve commercial performance.

The role and the Company value in-person connection, so in office presence is expected 3-4 days per week.

Whilst there are key duties that are required in this role, there is a real opportunity for you to shape and develop in the role.

Key Activities

Commercial Business Partnering

  • Partner with senior leaders across Marketing, Digital, Retail Education, HR, IT and Global Brand to support commercial decision making.
  • Ability to explain financial concepts and tools to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and influence business decisions through data-driven analysis.
  • Build trusted relationships across global teams in both London and Paris.

FP&A & Commercial Analysis

  • Lead forecasting cycles and support annual budgeting and long-range planning.
  • Deliver scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Monitor monthly performance against budget, identifying key drivers behind variances.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting that improve visibility of business performance.

Performance & Insight

  • Analyse trends across spend, investment and business performance to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Support investment decisions through ROI analysis and commercial modelling.
  • Present monthly performance reviews with meaningful commentary rather than simply reporting numbers.
  • Continuously improve reporting tools, planning processes and financial insight.

Financial Ownership

  • Own the forecasting and performance reporting for the UK entity and allocated global functions.
  • Work closely with Financial Control and Accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting whilst remaining focused on commercial insight.

Candidate Requirements

  • A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or equivalent commercial finance experience.
  • Has experience within Commercial Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering - industry specific experience isn’t required but a keen interest in luxury consumer goods is an advantage.
  • Enjoys working with stakeholders and influencing decision making rather than simply producing reports.
  • Excellent forecasting, budgeting and modelling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – must be able to teach, challenge, engage and influence.
  • Can communicate confidently with non-finance stakeholders and explain complex financial information in a simple way.
  • Advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, D365).
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Available on short notice would be a strong advantage, but not essential.
  • French speaking is an advantage, but not essential.
