Junior Full Stack Engineer
CRITICAL — Junior Full-Stack Engineer
You don’t hire a CV. You hire a mind. We want a specific one: a young engineer who is already dangerous, the prodigy a credential filter never sees coming.
- You taught yourself most of what you know.
- You build things nobody asked for, you read source code for fun, and you pick up a new language over a weekend because you couldn’t leave it alone.
- You think in systems and first principles, not borrowed patterns, and you care how a thing is built, not just that it runs.
You’ve also become genuinely fluent with AI tools—a force multiplier on your judgement, never a substitute for it. You can explain every line of code you ship, even the AI-assisted parts.
You might not have the years—you have what years can’t teach: the instinct to take something apart, understand it completely, and rebuild it better.
About Pynea
Hiring is broken, and everyone knows it. Companies drown in CVs that claim everything and prove nothing. Great people get filtered out by keywords; the wrong ones get through on polish. Months of work, and the signal is still noise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- You reason from first principles, not just convention
- You learn faster than anyone expects
- You have great taste in code: you distinguish elegant from merely functional
- You’re fluent in AI tools, and you can defend every line—even the AI-generated ones
The Stack You’ll Grow Into

Who Isn’t This Role For?
Do not apply if:
- You’re a "vibe coder" who ships AI code you can’t explain
- You need a full spec before moving forward
- You cut corners on security, reliability, or testing to chase speed
We don’t expect it all from day one. Strong foundational skills + the appetite to devour the rest is what matters.
