About the Role I'm looking for talented Full Stack Software Engineers to join an ambitious and fast-growing technology business where innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence are central to everything they do.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications.
- Build intuitive, reliable, and high-performing customer-facing features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to software architecture, technical design, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimise application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and champion engineering best practices.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality.
- Take ownership of features from concept through to production.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Commercial experience developing full stack web applications.
- Start-up experience in fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Next.js (HT Foxed likely typo), and CSS.
- Experience building backend services using Node.js frameworks (e.g., NestJS or similar).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of modern software development practices, including:
- Git
- Code reviews
- Automated testing
- CI/CD
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive mindset with an enthusiasm for continuous learning and adopting new technologies.
Desirable Experience
- Microservices and distributed systems.
- Prisma or comparable ORM frameworks.
- RabbitMQ, Kafka, or event-driven architectures.
- Automated testing using Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Monorepo tooling and modern build systems.
- Experience in eCommerce, SaaS, subscription-based, or digital product organisations.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools.
