An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Hobbs brands as Junior Garment Technologist
The Junior Garment Technologist will be responsible for ensuring a consistent fit throughout our Hobbs collection and strive to elevate and constantly evaluate the quality of our product and improve the fit of the garment.
Our Garment Technology team partner closely with the design and buying departments to assure the fit and quality of our product along with its technical capabilities from first sample through to delivery. Our team assess our supply base for its social and ethical sustainability and monitor new and existing suppliers’ compliance to our standards of make and delivery.

What you'll do:
- Working closely with our design and buying team to successfully interpret seasonal design needs and look to maximise sales through optimising our size ranges
- Attending product fit sessions with designers and buyers on development, pre-production and production samples communicating fit comments and specifications to suppliers and agents promptly
- Communicating clearly with suppliers, presenting and feeding back confidently
- Managing the sealing process, promoting a ‘right first time’ approach to sealing submission
- Analyse fabric test reports, request, review and approve bulk size specifications as required
Who you'll be:
As the Junior Garment Technologist, you'll be a vital part of our technical team, ideally you will have experience within Women's Outerwear and Soft Separates. You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is exceptionally organised, and loves working collaboratively. You'll be great at building and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels, both internally and with our supplier base.
