Junior Graphic Designer
Junior Graphic Designer Location: London, UK (Fully Remote or Hybrid – Farringdon Office Optional) Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: £23,000 – £27,000 per year + bonus (depending on experience and location) Position Summary The Junior Graphic Designer supports the creation of engaging learning materials and marketing assets across multiple formats. This role focuses on developing high-quality visual content for training programs, digital learning experiences, and brand communications while maintaining consistency with company brand guidelines and design standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the Design Team and wider business stakeholders, contributing creative ideas and supporting the delivery of innovative learning and marketing solutions. Key Responsibilities Design & Content Development Create new learning materials using Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and other learning design software Design marketing assets including email campaigns, social media content, digital advertising, website graphics, and presentation materials Support the development of engaging visual content across multiple delivery formats Assist with video editing and motion graphics projects, with opportunities for further development in these areas Ensure all visual content aligns with company brand guidelines and quality standards Brand Management & Quality Assurance Enforce and maintain brand guidelines across all business outputs Ensure consistency and visual quality throughout learning and marketing materials Review and refine design outputs to meet internal standards and project requirements Maintain attention to detail and accuracy across all deliverables Project Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with the Design Team and wider business stakeholders on creative projects Support the delivery of projects within agreed timelines Contribute fresh ideas and creative solutions to design challenges Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities Innovation & Continuous Improvement Stay informed about current design trends, tools, and best practices Adopt AI tools to enhance productivity, accelerate ideation, and improve design workflows Share examples and insights on how AI can be integrated into creative processes Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and quality across projects Required Skills Strong portfolio demonstrating core graphic design principles Excellent working knowledge of: Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint) Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Illustrator and Photoshop) Understanding of digital multimedia formats and publishing Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Highly self-motivated with an innovative mindset Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to integrate AI tools into design workflows, with examples of practical application preferred Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) 1+ year of experience in a graphic design role within an agency or corporate environment Preferred / Desirable Skills Interest in or understanding of digital learning content design Experience with Captivate, Articulate 360, or similar eLearning software Video production experience Experience with Camtasia, Premiere Pro, Audition, or similar multimedia software Work Environment Fully remote or hybrid working model Optional access to London office (Farringdon) Home working equipment provided Standard working hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm Benefits Performance-related bonus 23 days annual leave Training and development opportunities Regular social events and team-building activities Private medical cover, life insurance, and income protection following probation Friendly, collaborative, and relaxed working environment with a casual dress code About the Role This role is ideal for a creative and ambitious designer looking to develop their skills across learning design, marketing, video production, and digital content creation.
