Junior HR Business Partner
Role: Junior People Business Partner Salary: £30,000 Role Type: Full time, permanent Location: Head Office, Wooburn Green – 5 days per week required in the office for probation (6 months), dropping to 3 days thereafter. Hours: 09:00am – 17:30pm Reports to: Head of People & Culture
Role Purpose The Junior People Business Partner supports the delivery of effective people practices across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on learning & development, onboarding, payroll and colleague experience along with supporting People Safety & Compliance and Group Events &
Office Co-Ordination This will provide the Junior People Business Partner with wide reaching exposure to People & Culture activities. The role partners closely with managers and People colleagues to ensure people processes are delivered with quality, consistency, and in line with VISTA values.
Key Responsibilities Learning & Development (Visionary | Intentional) Support the planning and coordination of L&D initiatives that build future capability Maintain learning pathways, training records, and development plans Coordinate internal and external training activities Support managers with development conversations and upskilling plans Track L&D effectiveness and completion using People systems and data Onboarding & Induction (Intentional | Accountability) Own the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a structured and welcoming experience Coordinate pre-employment checks, contracts, and new starter administration Deliver or support company inductions aligned to culture and values Partner with managers to ensure new starters are supported, engaged, and productive quickly Employee Lifecycle Support (Accountability | Tenacity) Provide day-to-day People support across probation, performance, absence, development, and exits Support performance review cycles and documentation Assist with employee relations matters in line with company policies and UK employment legislation Maintain accurate employee records across all stages of the lifecycle PBP & Stakeholder Support (Synergy | Tenacity) Support People Business Partners with people initiatives, change activity, payroll and projects Prepare People data, reports, and insights to support decision-making Ensure consistent application of People policies and processes People Technology & Innovation (Visionary | Intentional) Identify opportunities to automate and streamline people processes, reducing manual effort and improving the colleague experience Support the adoption and optimisation of People systems, ensuring they are used to their full potential Explore and champion the use of AI and digital tools to enhance how the P&C team delivers value to the business Stay curious about emerging People tech trends and bring forward ideas that help the team work smarter Culture & Values (VISTA) Embed VISTA values into onboarding, L&D, and everyday people practices Act as a role model for company values in all interactions Support initiatives that promote collaboration, accountability, and high performance

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Essential CIPD Level 3 qualification, or actively working towards Experience in a People Assistant, People Officer, or junior people role Understanding of the employee lifecycle Experience supporting onboarding and/or learning initiatives Working knowledge of UK employment legislation Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Confident communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships Desirable Experience using People systems and learning platforms A genuine enthusiasm for technology, automation, and finding smarter ways of working Experience in a fast-paced, changing environment Ambition to progress into a full People Business Partner role
