Junior HR Business Partner

Location: Swindon and London Salary: Up to £50,000 Working Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days per week in-office during probation period between London and Swindon) Company: Edenred

About the Role

As a Junior HR Business Partner, you will provide operational and strategic HR support across a range of people matters. You will partner with managers, support employee relations activity, contribute to HR projects, and help drive a high-performing and inclusive culture.

This role offers a blend of business partnering, advisory support, and project work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build strong generalist HR experience in a commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers across the business to provide day-to-day HR guidance and support
  • Advise on employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinaries, grievances, and capability
  • Support organisational change activity, restructuring, and workforce planning where required
  • Work with managers to support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement
  • Contribute to the delivery of HR initiatives, policies, and projects aligned to business goals
  • Use HR data and insights to identify trends and support decision-making
  • Support the annual HR cycle, including performance reviews, salary reviews, and people planning
  • Promote best practice and ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across both Swindon and London offices

About You

We are looking for someone who is commercially aware, people-focused, and eager to develop their HR business partnering career.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor, Junior HRBP, or similar generalist HR role
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience managing employee relations cases with confidence and professionalism
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to influence and challenge constructively
  • A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards it) would be advantageous
