Junior HRIS Specialist

Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented Junior HRIS Specialist to join ASSA ABLOY’s EMEIA Head Office team. Reporting to the Head of HR Operations EMEIA, you will support and enhance the HR technology landscape across EMEIA, ensuring consistent systems, data, and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and optimising SAP SuccessFactors
  • Providing guidance on HRIS functionality to HR teams, IT, and business stakeholders
  • Ensuring data accuracy, process efficiency, and employee experience improvements

You will act as a critical bridge between HR, IT, and the business, translating operational needs into scalable system solutions that enhance HR operations.


Principal Responsibilities

SuccessFactors Administration & Optimisation

  • Maintain SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning) in line with global standards and regional requirements.
  • Test system functionality to validate reliability pre-deployment.
  • Oversee quarterly updates, assess impact, and support smoooth releases.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and escalate to global HRIS when required.
  • Ensure data integrity through audits and proactive monitoring.

Ticketing & HR Support

  • Manage and resolve HRIS-related tickets for EMEIA with timely, accurate responses.
  • Identify recurring issues and propose system or process improvements to reduce escalations.
  • Provide guidance on workflows and best practices to HR teams and employees.
  • Maintain knowledge articles and user guides for self-service support.

Compliance, Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare scheduled and ad-hoc compliance reports (e.g., GDPR-aligned data extracts, audit logs).
  • Collaborate with HR and Legal to ensure regulatory compliance across EMEIA.
  • Support internal and external audits with accurate system data and documentation.

Cross-Regional Collaboration

  • Work closely with global HRIS and local HR, IT, and Payroll teams to align on processes and data standards.
  • Represent EMEIA interests in global HR technology projects.
  • Support system rollouts, enhancements, and integrations across the region.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Highly proficient in Excel and analytical problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail with a structured mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed, international environment.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and clearly communicate with technical and non-technical teams.

Desirable

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (administration or configuration level).
  • Hands-on experience with HR ticketing systems.
  • Understanding of HR processes across multiple countries.
  • SAP SuccessFactors certifications (e.g., Employee Central, Reporting, Configurator).
  • EMEIA or multi-country HRIS support experience.
  • Knowledge of HR data governance frameworks.
