Junior Import Merchandiser Overview

We are working with a successful knitwear supplier who are looking to recruit a Junior Import Merchandiser to join their team.

Junior Import Merchandiser Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain purchase orders (POs) and support order processing
  • Update and track the critical path, ensuring key dates are met
  • Maintain accurate records across orders, suppliers, and product information
  • Support the merchandising team in managing the product lifecycle from order placement through to delivery
  • Liaise with overseas suppliers to track production, samples, and shipments
  • Liaise with factories by processing and raising orders
  • Requesting samples, lab dips, and approvals to ensure timelines are maintained
  • Assist with reviewing and updating product details, including labelling and packaging information
  • Support shipment coordination, including tracking deliveries and updating internal systems
