Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Lawyer to join the compliance function of the team at Teledyne. You will report to the General Counsel for Digital Imaging (Europe, EMEA and APAC).

Your Responsibilities

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance programs, including our ethics and data privacy programs.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating legal risks related to business operations.

Corporate Governance:

  • Maintain corporate records and filings.
  • Support the preparation of board resolutions and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.

Legal Advisory:

  • Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal teams on a variety of matters, regulatory compliance, and general corporate matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memos, policies, and guidelines as needed.

Dispute Resolution:

  • Assist in managing disputes and litigation, including coordinating with external counsel when necessary.
  • Help resolve internal and external legal issues efficiently and effectively.

Mergers and Acquisitions:

  • Assisting with due diligence of potential acquisition targets and the integration of newly acquired businesses.
  • Reviewing and advising on NDA's and other commercial agreements.

Training and Education:

  • Help deliver training sessions to staff on legal topics, such as data protection, intellectual property, or contract management.

Your Experience

  • Legal experience (1 year, required)
  • Commercial experience or experience in reviewing commercial contracts
  • Commercial awareness
