Please note we are unable to provide international VISAs or relocation for this role. It is also a 5-day-a-week in-office position, with some evening and weekend work on a rota, so the successful UK-based candidate must be able to comfortably commute to our Chancery Lane office in Central London.

The Role
Framestore’s Systems Support Team is growing and we are looking for a Junior IT Assistant! This is an entry-level position to join our 1st line support team, dealing with all IT systems-related queries and issues. This role is perfect for someone who has recently graduated from college/ university or is in the early stages of their career.

Based in our London office, this hands-on role is your chance to jumpstart your career in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.
As a Junior IT Assistant, you’ll handle a variety of responsibilities that keep our technology running smoothly:
- You’ll be the first point of contact for all tech incidents and requests, managing them through our JIRA service desk
- You’ll configure workstations (both hardware and software) - diagnosing and replacing hardware components
- You’ll monitor our systems, manage assets and loan equipment, and provide on-site AV support for meetings and events
Core Experience
- Genuine passion and interest in working with tech
- Hands-on hardware experience - PC Mods, builds, upgrades, repairs
- OS Experience with Mac, Linux or Windows
- Basic scripting language (PowerShell, bash or Python)
- Eagerness to learn
- Good problem-solving ability
- Keen to work as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Have Experience
- Application support and deployment
- Active Directory management
- Configuration Management (Puppet, Ansible)
- Windows Systems administration and deployment (WDS, SCCM/MDT, WSUS)
- Networking (Layer1, Layer2)
- VOIP Knowledge (PBX, SIP)
