Job Description:
Spin Master is a leading global children's entertainment company, creating exceptional play experiences through its three creative centres: Toys, Entertainment and Digital Games. With distribution in over 100 countries, Spin Master is best known for award-winning brands PAW Patrol®, Bakugan®, Kinetic Sand®, Air Hogs®, Hatchimals®, Rubik's Cube® and GUND®, and is the global toy licensee for other popular properties.
What will you work on?
Within the portfolio of brands they manage on the account, the Junior Key Account Manager is required to maximize opportunities, manage risk, deliver on profitability goals, develop effective long-term business relationships and exceed customer expectations.
This is a UK based role and will be expected to be in the office four days a week.
How will you create impact?
- Support and contribute to developing bi-annual business plans with the National Account Manager that deliver upon company goals and meet customer needs
- Contribute to & support the National Account manager with building innovative sales and marketing led account plans that will maximise Spin Master's performance within each account
- Confidently deliver product presentations, business proposals and marketing plans to customers on time for their portfolio of brands/categories
- Understand the customer timelines and proactively provide customers with all information and materials required to make decisions and manage business effectively
- Develop forecasts for their portfolio of brands/categories that best reflect market realities; update forecasts using the analysis tools available e.g. POS, stock and allocations data and promotional plans, on a monthly basis as a minimum. In addition, work closely with the planning team to ensure stock and allocations are available.
- Continual review of current performance to ensure business goals are achieved and be able to propose adjust plans as necessary with supporting evidence.
- Support in managing customer specific budgets and updating Salesforce
- Analysis of sell through data and market intelligence to maximize business opportunities while minimising risk
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with customers; and provide fast solutions to challenges
- Quickly gain a thorough understanding of all account business objectives and marketing plans by gaining multi-level and cross functional contacts within your account portfolio
- Co-ordinate trade marketing and marketing activity across your brands/categories to ensure delivery of planned volume, distribution and profit targets
- Assist in maximising account profitability through involvement in strategic business planning including, delivery of volume, revenue and margin, creative promotional work, and good use of data to provide customer solutions
- Work closely with buyers to gain joint agreement on objectives for sales growth whilst managing account selections process for the brands & categories you are responsible for
- Work proactively and effectively with team members to help ensure deliverable customer plans
- Work in a team environment with a friendly and diplomatic manner, while aligning with our Spin Master values.
- Maintain and further develop the strong commercial and personal relationships between Spin Master and your account base and ensure Spin Master remains a preferred supplier

How will you fit into the team?
The Junior Key Account Manager reports to the National Account Manager
What are your skills and experience?
- Minimum 18 months to 2 years of experience in a similar role in the CPG or Toy industry preferred
- Retail experience an asset
- Demonstrated success managing a business portfolio
- Customer driven approach and a "go-getter" attitude
- Ability to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internally
- Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, Salesforce an asset
- Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment
- Goal oriented to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence & determination
- Ability to create and maintain business presentations, Excel files, read POS reports
- Flexibility regarding accounts managed
- Full clean driving license & ability to travel within the UK or Internationally.
