Junior Learning Designer – KS2/KS3 Maths (12 months FTC)

We’re remote-first! While our main office is in London, our team is composed of over 110 people (and counting) working from 10 countries.

The roleIn this role, you will help the Education team create a variety of content following content specifications and brand guidelines. You will also contribute to our project management planning, learning how to maximise your time to deliver results.

You will work closely under the supervision of more senior learning designers, who will provide mentoring as you learn the ropes in learning design and content management.

What you will do

Work within a team obsessed with making sure every child has access to the highest quality learning and assessment resources Research and develop high-quality maths, science and reasoning content for KS2 and KS3 Create, revise and proofread learning and assessment content Update, brief and collaborate with teams across the company to ensure Atom offers educational value to every student, parent and teacher.

Who you are

You have recently graduated from university or teacher training You are tech-savvy, quick to learn new software You have recent maths teaching or tuition experience You enjoy maths and making it ‘click’ for others You work constructively with others and respond positively to feedback A keen eye for detail, particularly when writing or designing visual assets Time management and self-leadership skills Enthusiasm for creatively tackling problems An interest in the science of learning.

Experience that would set you apart

Management of visual design tools, such as Figma Experience in 11+ or SATs exam preparation Experience designing educational resources for children aged 5-12.
