Role Description

Our Maintenance Technicians work closely with the cluster’s General Manager and Client Experience Manager's to ensure client's ad-hoc requests are completed, as well as working alongside the Operations Assistant to ensure buildings are safe, PPM’s and compliance logs are kept up to date and are secure and in good condition/working order.

You’ll be learning and shadowing our team of three experienced Maintenance Technicians, to eventually and confidently attend reactive maintenance issues and own general facilities upkeep across the buildings in our Central portfolio (mainly Holborn and Farringdon). You will:

  • Learn our software - Mainly our FreshDesk ticketing system
  • Understand how to identify issues or improvements to the buildings to maximise our client's experience.
  • Work towards excellent standards of Facilities Management in all buildings in your cluster; assisting in carrying out regular walkthroughs and raising tickets proactively.
  • Learn the buildings high safety standards ensuring they're secure and in good decorative / operational order.
  • Master how to own general maintenance duties, including minor decorative works, first-fix repairs to fixtures/fittings and building services including HVAC/Electrical adjustments.
  • Partner with external contractors and escalate accordingly.
  • Shadow our team who carry out regular health & safety and statutory compliance checks (e.g. weekly fire tests, water temperature testing etc).

About You

You're a team player who is excited about growing with a company and learning new skills. You have a flexible mindset and can problem solve in a creative way. You’re friendly and can communicate to clients and colleagues confidently. You have:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant facilities experience.
  • Basic experience in mechanical, electrical and fabric work.
  • Basic IT knowledge (as this will help you use our ticketing software ‘FreshDesk’).
