About The Role
Location: Hatfield, UK (Hybrid)
Employment type: Full-Time, Permanent
Reports to: Managing Director, UK
To help produce monthly management accounts and support the general finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare indirect cost journal postings in time for the deadlines, maintain the indirect accruals excel file
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Update changes to client terms and add new clients to the invoicing spreadsheets
- Assist in answering complex client queries
- Investigation of any overdrawn accounts
- Join ad hoc client calls where required
- Process monthly MOR payments on Barclays
- VAT return preparation and payments
- Other annual returns for PBP e.g. National Statistics
- Provide AR a quarterly client recharge reconciliation which clearly shows the amounts to invoice clients
- Investigating difference on the Aged Debtor Report & Tidy ups on each business line
- Reconciliation in NetSuite of the PBP Corporate bank account weekly
- Produce monthly cashflow forecasts
- Ownership for PSP and merchant account maintenance
- Assist with annual audit
- General adhoc duties to support the UK Finance Team
- Support / cover as and when necessary e.g. during periods of sickness or holiday
- Carry out other tasks and responsibilities as requested by your manager from time to time

Required Qualifications
- Previous experience of working in a finance department
- Accounting qualification or interest in obtaining an accounting qualification
- Excellent IT skills including Excel
- Experience of Netsuite/other accounting software
What We Offer
Compensation: The expected salary range for this role is £35,000 - £41,000 plus commission and car allowance. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
