The Role
We are seeking a Junior Manual QA Tester to join our team. As we revolutionize the software spend industry, we need someone to help ensure our product enhancements are shipped on time and meet the highest standards.

What You'll Be Working On
- Execute manual tests on software applications to ensure the product meets specified requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-organized test plans, test cases, and test results
- Identify, record, document, and track any issues and improvements
- Communicate findings clearly and concisely to developers and stakeholders
- Work closely with development teams to understand product changes and new features
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not adversely affected by new changes

Requirements
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with familiarity in manual testing who is dedicated to ensuring product quality through rigorous, detail-oriented testing processes. Alternatively, you may have experience at another SaaS company in a customer-facing role that requires you to work through some of their technical challenges or problem-solve.
Ideally, you recognize the importance of pushing the boundaries of traditional manual testing and maximizing curiosity.
Your Skills
- You can confidently communicate both verbally and in writing in English, effectively reporting findings and collaborating with team members.

- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Openness to receiving feedback and implementing improvements
The role requires the following skills; however, if you don't tick all the boxes, that's fine too - we can help you get there.
- Knowledge of basic testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to work with databases and execute simple SQL queries
- Familiarity with task tracking software
- Exposure to automation tools (preferred but not required; willingness to learn is crucial)

Compensation
- A starting salary of £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Work Environment

- For the first 2 weeks, you will be expected in the office 5 days a week for training and learning.
- After training, the team currently meets up 2 days per week (Mondays and Thursdays) in the office, to foster collaboration and team culture.
- Working hours are 09:00 - 18:00

- We will provide the tools you need to succeed in the role. Currently, we use Apple MacBooks.

Location
- London, UK. You must be able to commute to our office at least 2 days per week
