We are currently searching for a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to take responsibility for providing engineering solutions to the production and manufacturing department that support the achievement of sales and profit targets and the provision of superior service in a high quality, timely, cost-effective and resource efficient way.
What will you be doing?
- Keeping up to date and identify current and future trends in manufacturing and enhance business decision making and judgement by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of trends in manufacturing, methodology and systems engineering.
- Contributing to the overall department plan by identifying and utilising opportunities and suggestions for improvements and growth.
- Driving continuous manufacturing improvement by investigating process-related root causes, implementing corrective actions, and supporting the development and optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance performance and reliability.
- Driving cost and operational improvements by supporting waste reduction initiatives, contributing to year-on-year manufacturing cost savings, and assisting in the successful introduction and transfer of new products into production.
- Resolving complex technical and material challenges by applying analytical problem-solving techniques to manufacturing and material issues, delivering innovative solutions and managing technical changes that ensure the efficient flow of products through production.

What will you need to be successful?
- Batchelor's degree in engineering, science or related field ideally with minimum of 2 years relevant operational engineering / continuous improvement experience.
- Advanced understanding of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. General understanding of S&N applications including Teams and SAP.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams while sharing knowledge and supporting common goals.
