The role can be based from anywhere in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland but will include regular travel to our office in Clonee, County Meath.
Our mission across Supply Chain and Merchandising is to identify and support opportunities to optimise store availability and stock levels to fully maximise Poundland & Dealz sales potential whilst controlling the costs of the business. This is delivered through focusing on simplifying how we work as a team and across the wider business by optimising our systems and driving consistent and collaborative ways of working across our teams and business partners.

- Collaborate closely with the Merchandising team to align on inbound stock deliveries and priorities
- Ensure Launch availability for Seasonal Events across distribution centres, avoiding overstocking and stock shortages
- Monitor inbound inventory across distribution centres and regions, assessing availability by location and country, agitate and interrogate any gaps in availability or Range Plans

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
