The Role – Junior Merchandiser
We are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join our Brighton Head Office team. The ideal candidate will have a passion to achieve great results through building robust processes and innovative thinking and who is driven to get things completed to a high standard. Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and who loves numbers & retail! Based at our Brighton Head Office, you will report to the Head of Merchandising and work collaboratively with teams across Design, Buying, Tech & Marketing and our Operations team who are based in Macclesfield. From when we sold our very first bra way back in 2005, to today when we sell one approximately every 30 seconds, passion and playfulness is at the heart of everything we do.
Our direct-to-consumer operation is growing by over 50%, but that’s not the only thing about Pour Moi that’s expanding! Our range has grown along with us to include lingerie, swimwear, beachwear, clothing, sportswear, nightwear and hosiery, with exciting new developments planned for future seasons.
With our buying, design, technical, merchandising, marketing and sales departments based in our sunny Brighton offices, we have a blue-chip wholesale partner portfolio that includes M&S, Next, Very & John Lewis.

Key Responsibilities
With support from the Head of Merchandising this role is responsible for driving sales and profitability through effective planning, management and analysis of merchandise across multiple channels including online, concession partners, wholesale partners and retail, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Plan The Season - collaborate with the rest of the dept team to develop a commercial strategy to maximise sales and profit potential & implement ideas to deliver future growth. Utilise sales data, historical trends and market insights to forecast demand, identify opportunities and mitigate risk
- Range Building – build an option framework by category and by phase, working with the buying & design team to create a balanced commercial range for the target market aligned with market trends and financial targets
- Trade - actively trade the dept using data to optimise sales across channels, reviewing stock levels, commitment & OTB to maximise full price sell through
- Teamwork – collaborate with cross functional teams including marketing & operations to align merchandising efforts with broader business objectives & initiatives
- People Management – alongside a Junior Buyer this role would motivate the team with a vision for the future of the dept explaining strategy & targets, providing clear communication and guidance. This role would manage an MAA actioning yearly appraisals and coaching as required
