We are launching a massive, high-volume project to refine and perfect localized product descriptions for a global e-commerce giant. Position Overview

Role: Junior AI Content Reviewer / Localization Specialist (Norwegian)
Language(s): English and Norwegian
Experience: Entry-level / Junior / Language Students
Location: 100% Remote - work from anywhere
Employment Type: Freelance / Independent contractor

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate e-commerce product descriptions for accuracy, tone, and readability
  • Ensure the content doesn't just sound translated, but resonates naturally with Norwegian consumers
  • Identify and correct grammatical errors, awkward phrasing, and unnatural text to ensure a polished final product
  • Evaluate and grade localized content against specific style guides to maintain high standards of accuracy and readability

Requirements

This is a junior-friendly role, making it the perfect stepping stone for students or aspiring localization professionals. We are looking for:

  • Native-level fluency in Norwegian (written and spoken) with an exceptional grasp of grammar, slang, and cultural nuances
  • Strong proficiency in English (source guidelines and project communication will be in English)
  • Current students in Linguistics, Translation, Nordic Studies, Communications, or related fields are highly encouraged to apply!
  • Previous experience in translation, editing, or linguistic work is a plus
  • A tech-savvy mindset and the ability to learn new annotation platforms quickly
  • Reliable internet connection and a laptop/computer
