Position Overview
Role: Junior AI Content Reviewer / Localization Specialist (Norwegian)
Language(s): English and Norwegian
Experience: Entry-level / Junior / Language Students
Location: 100% Remote – work from anywhere
Employment Type: Freelance / Independent contractor
Responsibilities
- Evaluate e-commerce product descriptions for accuracy, tone, and readability.
- Ensure the content doesn’t just sound translated, but resonates naturally with Norwegian consumers.
- Identify and correct grammatical errors, awkward phrasing, and unnatural text to ensure a polished final product.
- Evaluate and grade localized content against specific style guides to maintain high standards of accuracy and readability.
This is a junior-friendly role, making it the perfect stepping stone for students or aspiring localization professionals. We are looking for:
- Native-level fluency in Norwegian (written and spoken) with an exceptional grasp of grammar, slang, and cultural nuances.
- Strong proficiency in English (source guidelines and project communication will be in English).
- Current students in Linguistics, Translation, Nordic Studies, Communications, or related fields are highly encouraged to apply!
- Previous experience in translation, editing, or linguistic work is a plus.
- A tech-savvy mindset and the ability to learn new annotation platforms quickly.
- Reliable internet connection and a laptop/computer.
