This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience in operations, trade support, shipping, or market analytics who is looking to develop a front-office trading career. Working alongside an experienced traders, you will gain hands-on exposure to market analysis, physical trading, deal execution, and risk management while taking on increasing commercial responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities Track and analyse market movements, including pricing, freight, and trade flows, helping to develop commercial insights that support trading decisions. Assist with the execution of physical and paper transactions, including trade confirmations, recaps, and internal coordination across operations, finance, and risk teams. Support the physical execution of cargoes, including nominations, vessel instructions, and liaison with terminals, inspectors, agents, and surveyors. Ensure accurate and timely management of shipping and trade documentation throughout the transaction lifecycle. Help resolve operational issues, scheduling challenges, and trade discrepancies, while supporting claims and demurrage processes where required. Maintain awareness of trading exposures and support reporting, compliance, and risk control procedures. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to facilitate smooth trade execution. Requirements Up to 3 years' experience in oil, refined products, commodities, shipping, trade support, operations, or market analytics. Understanding of physical oil trading, shipping processes, and trade documentation. Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities and the ability to interpret market data. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with both internal teams and external counterparties. Ambitious, commercially minded, and keen to build a long-term career in oil trading.
