The Role
Our new Junior Operations Accountant will sit right at the centre of our Cookstown site, where they will be supporting all aspects of site finance, from yield reporting to insight and continuous improvement. This is a rare opportunity to step into a hands-on finance role that touches every part of the business. You’ll work closely with Operations, build real commercial understanding, and shape a career path based on what you enjoy and where you want to grow.

Please note this role is based on site 5 days a week.
Your Key Responsibilities
In this role you’ll produce clear, meaningful reporting and help strengthen decision-making across the site:
- Deliver daily, weekly and monthly yield and labour reports, calling out trends, risks and opportunities.
- Analyse labour variances, efficiencies and overtime, providing insight and challenge to Operational Managers.
- Maintain weekly operational finance trackers and support follow-up actions that drive performance.
- Support wider Finance tasks to ensure accurate and timely site reporting.
- Contribute to the Monthly Operations CI Pack and monthly Finance Check-In Pack.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying smarter, quicker and more reliable ways of working.

The Ideal Candidate
You will be a proactive, motivated professional with strong analytical capability and the confidence to challenge and collaborate:
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data.
- Able to manage tasks to completion with accuracy and consistency.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Resilient, reliable and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
- Strong problem-solving ability, with a clear-thinking approach to influencing decisions.
- In addition, being newly or part qualified would be helpful in this role, but is not essential.
