Operations team Data Analyst/Arbitrage Specialist
London, UK – Department: Operations
About the Role
As our operations team grows, we’re seeking an energetic and detail-oriented individual with basic knowledge of betting processes to support our sports betting-focused team in our London office. The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong aptitude for data analysis
- A proactive mindset driving team performance
- Passion for football betting markets and market dynamics
Key Responsibilities
- Daily operations execution: Manage routine operational tasks within the betting operations environment.
- Data management & analysis:
- Record, track, and analyse live betting and transactional activity
- Ensure consistency across data sources and maintain data accuracy
- Investigate discrepancies between actual transactions vs. recorded data
- Data integrity & market settlements:
- Support the team in resolving and settling betting markets
- Communicate data accuracy/completeness to colleagues, emphasising findings concisely
- Discrepancy resolution:
- Liaise with internal/external third parties to resolve inconsistencies
- Financial stake management: Efficient handling of funds to optimise betting capacity

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Essential Qualities
- Excel proficiency: Knowledge of functions like LOOKUP, SUMIFS, IMPORTRANGE (a plus)
- Spreadsheet experience: Comfortable working with structured/unstructured data spread across multiple formats
- Data entry background: Prior experience in data recording (in work or education)
- Work under pressure: Focused, diligent, and organised with strong time management
- Multi-tasking: Ability to balance priorities while adhering to strict operational processes
- Meticulous attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving
- Office-based commitment: Willing to work 5 days a week in the London HQ
- Being a football fan: No substitute for enthusiasm!
Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Familiarity with competitive football betting markets & operators
- Previous experience with cryptocurrency (a strong advantage)
- Flexibility to work early/late shifts and weekends when required
