Junior Operations Manager Trainee

Location: Manchester Type: Full Time | On Site | Permanent Salary: £25,000 Base Salary — increasing to £45,000 (Months 6-12, based on performance)

Playbook Direct is looking for a driven individual ready to step into a hands-on operations pathway. This opportunity is designed for those at an early stage in their career who want real responsibility, structured training, and a clear route into leadership.

About the Opportunity

You will work closely with experienced leaders, gaining practical insight into how sales operations and campaign delivery function on a daily basis. The role combines organisation, communication, and commercial awareness, giving you a well-rounded foundation in business operations.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Contributing to the day-to-day running of sales and campaign activity
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of customer-focused campaigns
  • Tracking performance metrics and learning how results are improved
  • Supporting team scheduling, coordination, and workflow organisation
  • Working alongside senior staff to understand operational decision-making
  • Gaining exposure to coaching techniques and team development
  • Assisting with reporting, standards, and internal processes
