Essential Functions
- Day to day management of the ELG Utica plant operations.
- Support UK HSE manager and ensure all EH&S corporate and legislative metrics are met. Drive a culture of a safe workplace.
- Support UK quality manager and ensure all Quality metrics are met. Drive a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Core focus is ensuring the highest level of quality, and the maximum throughput, at the most efficient cost base while meeting Corporate Budget.
- Assist Operations Director with the development and implementation of capital improvement and productivity programs.
- Drive efficiency and transparency through the plant and external communication.
- Plan short and long term production requirements with the commercial team. Guide the operation to meet these plans, and effectively manage capacity.
- Maximize the use of technology. Partner with the Group Technology Team on the best technology path for the site.
- Assist Operations Director with the Development and execution of the site level CAPEX Budget.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in the business.
- Become an integral part of Global footprint development effort.
