Job Description

SALARY UP TO £28K+STUDY SUPPORT, BE A VALUED MEMBER OF AN EXPANDING ORGANISATION

JUNIOR OUTSOURCING ACCOUNTANT - OXFORD, OXFORDSHIRE - JOB REF: JO23701

We are delighted to again be working with a very modern forward thinking practice in Oxford that are looking to recruit a part qualified accountant into their outsourcing team. They are offering a competitive salary of up to £28K + STUDY SUPPORT + ENVIABLE BENEFITS with great career progression prospects on offer.

Our valued client requires an part qualified accountant to join an ever growing team, the successful candidate could well be part AAT qualified or fully AAT qualified and progressing onto their ACCA and their level would be reflective in their remuneration.

ROLE

  • Building productive working relationships internally and with clients as required.
  • Developing and applying your technical knowledge through on the job training and formal qualifications.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts and VAT returns.
  • Preparing opening balance journals.
  • Preparing basic tax computations and returns e.g. corporation tax, VAT.
  • Processing sales and purchase invoices and reconciling bank accounts.

Candidate Requirements

  • Be Part AAT, Fully AAT Qualified or in the early stages of ACCA. The candidate's salary will fall in line with their experience level.
  • Minimum 2 years UK based Practice experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Fluent English both written and verbal.
  • Positive, confident and proactive attitude.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to create a positive impression with clients.
  • Be able, knowledgeable and competent on Microsoft Word, Excel and be able to learn new accounting programs within short time-scales.
  • Quickbooks, Xero, Sage or CCH experience would be an advantage.
